Our guiding principle at Gecko is that yoga doesn't end when we step off the mat. We believe that an integral part of our yoga practice is being in service to others, as well as honoring the ancestral roots of this ancient tradition.
That's why we've partnered with Yoga Gives Back, a non-profit focused on giving back to the Motherland of yoga by empowering India's women and children.
About Yoga Gives Back
Yoga Gives Back mobilizes practicioners worldwide to channel their gratitude into empowering India's women and children, creating sustainable lives.
Over the last 17 years, YGB has successfully engaged yoga practitioners in more than 30 countries to give back with gratitude to India, Motherland of yoga. Today, their global community’s support assists over 3,000 women and children with life-changing programs: early education, scholarships for high education, and micro-loan programs to build a life with happiness, sense of self-worth and sustainability.
Yoga Gives Back is not only giving money where there is need. We are creating an eternal circulation of gratitude expressed among yoga practitioners globally and our fund recipients in India, connecting us all.
