Shipping policy
Order Processing
Order processing times are separate from shipping times.
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Once an item has been shipped, it may be subject to delays due to issues from postal services and shipping providers.
Local Delivery
We offer Local Delivery for Lisbon addresses within 4km of our storage facility. This means we will hand deliver your package to you at no additional cost. If you are eligible for Local Delivery, we will reach out to you directly to arrange the best pick up date and time.
If you live in Lisbon and your address is not within the 4km radius, we may still be able to reach you. Please contact us at hello@geckoyogamats.com and we will do our best to accommodate.

A delivery address in one of these countries is needed to complete your online order. If you wish to order a product and have it be delivered to a different country, please contact us directly for a shipping quote.
EU Shipping Rates and Times
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout depending on the delivery location. Shipping rates and times are as follows.

We also offer free shipping throughout the EU and UK on orders over €120.
Taxes and Customs
Online orders are shipped from our facility in Portugal. Depending on your shipping location, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Gecko is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@geckoyogamats.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping Carriers
Your order may be shipped from any of the following carriers:
- CTT
- FedEx
- UPS
- DHL
- ParcelABC
We will select the carrier based on who can most efficiently deliver your parcel to your delivery address.
Lost or Stolen Items During Delivery
Once a proof of delivery is received from the shipping carrier, the item is considered delivered.
If your item gets lost during shipment, rerouted, returned to sender, or takes significantly longer to delivery than quoted, please reach out to us right away — you may qualify for a new shipment, free of charge.
If your item is lost or stolen after delivery, it is no longer within our scope of liability, and you are no longer eligible for a replacement of merchandise or refund. You may, however, be able to file a claim directly with the shipping provider.
If you know you have issues receiving deliveries, or live in an area where theft is likely, please reach out to us before placing your order to request that shipping insurance be added to your delivery.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
Please view our complete return policy.
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery. If the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@geckoyogamats.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will do all we can to work towards a satisfactory solution.
